As a mother of 5 children, Francesca Battistelli has been on hiatus from the spotlight. That hiatus has come to an abrupt end. The Grammy-Award winning Christian artist has announced she will have a lead role in the upcoming motion picture, God’s Not Dead: We the People (from Pinnacle Peak Pictures, formerly Pure Flix Entertainment).
Battistelli plays the role of Rebecca McKinnon, a homeschooling mother whose educational choice is encroached upon by the government. As pressure from Washington to cease and desist increases, Rebecca McKinnon is forced to become both spearhead and lightning rod to protect her freedoms.
